Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Specialist Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Team based at the Swaffham Community Hospital. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic well motivated Senior Nurse.

Main duties of the job

You will work as an integral part of the rehabilitation team and be responsible for providing high standards of rehabilitation care to a group of patients.

You will be required to deliver evidence based care to a high standard. Excellent communication skills and a supportive approach to team working within a rehabilitation setting are key to the success of this service.

This is a key role working within a well-established team, working with all disciplines to deliver and achieve the best outcome for the patients who access this service.

This post is real opportunity for member of staff who is keen to explore their role within rehabilitation and develop their skills at a Band 6 level and influence change within the service.

Excellent organisational skills will also be really important within the team, as you will be required to lead and develop staff managing local induction, supporting new learners from all clinical areas, which will be essential to support the workforce of the future.

Good computer skills or the ability to learn will be required for this role and will be essential to the development of this unit
