Job summary
NCHC has a number of multidisciplinary roles within a modern, new build therapy led unit in Norwich opening in 2024.
We are looking for a highly motivated Housekeeper who would like to join our exciting journey, committed to help deliver exceptional patient-centred care with the co-ordination of all patient facilities and services to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment for 48 patients at NCH&C's Norwich Community Hospital site.
You will be a part of this new team and will play a pivotal role to ensure delivery of cleaning, stores, ordering, catering, monitor quality standards and work closely with others to ensure deficiencies are rectified. Together with other specified tasks, meet the needs of patients to supportthem back into the community and, in this role, we can offer you the opportunity to play a significant part in creating a reablement culture within a brand-new unit.

Main duties of the job
- To work as an integral part of the Willow Therapy Unit team.
- Assist with co-ordination of all patient facilities and services in the ward area to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
- To monitor quality standards and work closely with others to ensure that deficiencies are rectified.
- The main element of the role is to ensure the delivery of cleaning, stores, ordering, catering and minor maintenance, together with other specified tasks to meet individual patient needs as determined by the Unit Lead.
