An exciting opportunity has arisen at Caroline House at the Colman Hospital. We are looking for an experienced registered nurse to join our senior nursing team, providing leadership and experience at band 6 to our team delivering neuro-rehabilitation to brain injury patients.
This is real opportunity to further your career, driving forward change and developing the team to meet the changing demands of our patient group. In addition, you will be working closely with colleagues from across the MDT and wider trust, with a real focus on the delivery of quality care for patients.

Main duties of the job
- To provide leadership and support for the ward nursing team, helping co-ordinate and manage the team and patient care delivery.
- To be a leading member of the multidisciplinary team ensuring continuity and quality in the provision of patient care.
- To assist the ward manager in the organisation of nursing activities, ward budget, personnel and education of the nursing team.
- To contribute to the development and evaluation of nursing practice on the unit.
- Represent the service and profession when required, deputising for the ward manager as required
