Are you passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people? Halton Childrens Specialist Services has a rare and exciting opportunity for a dedicated NDP Coordinator to join our multi-agency team.
Based at the Halton Child Development Centre in Widnes, you will be the heartbeat of our neurodevelopmental pathway. Youll manage the journey for children and young people across Halton (Widnes and Runcorn) and parts of Cheshire (Frodsham and Helsby), ensuring every referral and appointment is tracked with care.
Your role is truly collaborative: youll chair multi-disciplinary panels, liaise with partner agencies, andmost importantlyprovide compassionate feedback to families following their assessments. Your role will innovate through the provision of specialist advice to partner agencies and services and lead on service developments based on local and national initiatives and guidelines.

Main duties of the job
- To work as an integral part of the Neurodevelopmental pathway multi agency team
- To lead the development and implementation of a diagnostic pathway for children with neurodevelopmental difficulties
- To provide specialist support to colleagues on neurodevelopmental issues.
- To take a key role in liaising with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children/adolescents with both a neurodevelopmental difficulty and a mental health condition.
- To take a key role in feeding back to young people and their families the outcome of their multi agency assessment.
- To develop the service and the role in line with national and local initiatives.
