Main duties of the job
To lead, manage and oversee the co-ordination
of local delivery of the Healthy Child Programme within the 0-19 integrated
service requirements, using the healthy child programme as a framework to
support delivery. This will include delivery and monitoring of delivery targets
of all core Public Health commissioned interventions, including immunisations,
health screening/surveillance, health assessments and a requirement to support
the health needs of any vulnerable children/young people within the caseload. Work
in collaboration with partnership agencies to address the needs of all children
0-19 years within vulnerable groups including those on the child protection
register.
To provide cover in conjunction with other
members of the 0-19 Integrated team across Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS
Trust in times of annual leave, sickness and school holidays.
Halton 0-19 Healthy Child Service works
across Runcorn and Widnes which makes up the borough of Halton. We deliver the
Healthy Child Programme and aim to improve quality health outcomes for Halton
children and their families.
Halton Healthy
Child 0-19 Service includes Health Visiting, School Nursing, Family Nurse
Partnership, and the Immunisation team all working together to improve the
health and wellbeing of young people. You will have the opportunity to develop
your skills working with a whole range of partners within the Local Authority,
Schools, Primary Care, and voluntary and statutory agencies, as well as GPs
