If so, a unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join Halton Childrens Integrated Physiotherapy and OT Team.

The Childrens Physiotherapy Team are community based and work in a variety of settings including the Child development Centre, health centres, mainstream and special educational needs schools, and nurseries as well as childrens homes. They work with children from birth up to the age of 19 years who have a range of physical and developmental conditions, complex needs and functional difficulties.
Main duties of the job
A HCPC registered Physiotherapist with excellent communication skills who can bring transferable skills and experiences with children and some physiotherapy knowledge to the post.
You will be trained to provide specialist physiotherapy assessments including motor coordination, gait, developmental assessments. This will include intervention planning and evaluation of clinical findings for a range of children including those with complex conditions. You will be trained in the assessment and review of specialist equipment including standing frames and walkers.
The post holder must have excellent communication skills and be committed to continuing professional development.You will be working alongside experienced Physiotherapists and the wider multi-professional team including Occupational therapists, therapy assistants, speech and language therapists, community paediatricians and specialist nurses
You should be able to demonstrate the ability to use current evidence-based practice and have research and audit skills to apply in your practice. You will be directly involved in service developments initiatives and demonstrate the ability to contribute to the learning, supervision and development of students and Band 3 staff members.
