Main duties of the job
Assist with the overall management and delivery of Treatment Room
services across Halton supporting the Treatment Room Co-Ordinator.
With the Treatment Room Co-ordinator lead with the standardisation and
continuous improvement of leg ulcer care in the area.
Provide clinical support by managing delegated patients within the
Treatment Room setting.
Take responsibility for the supervision and development of the Treatment
Room Nurse.
Ensure that the training and development needs of all Treatment Room
staff are met, including the implementation of Personal Development Plans
(PDPs).
Lead on data collection for audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs, ensuring high standards
are maintained.
Work collaboratively with the District Nurse Coordinator, District
Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective information
sharing and continuity of care, including the review of complex care packages.
Provide mentoring, teaching, and assessment for staff within the service.
Liaise with all relevant healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure
efficient and effective service delivery.

care.
To establish and maintain effective communication
with patients, relatives and carers in complex and potentially challenging
situations.
To competently perform clinical skills related to
