Job summary
To
offer admin support to patients and clinical services within the building.
You
will be the first point of contact for callers and visitors.
Duties will include
communicating effectively with staff, patients, and other departments, greeting
patients and visitors, answering telephone calls, data input, producing
documents, filing, and archiving.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include:
Liaising with other services
Carrying out general office
duties
Cancelling and rebooking
patients/ supporting treatment room appointments where required.
Booking rooms for clinical
sessions
Reporting faults
Opening and sorting mail
Maintaining noticeboards
Fire Warden and First Aider
(training given)
Managing the fob systems
To provide cover as required
across our bases
Any other tasks appropriate to
the role and to the relevant base

We are a friendly admin team, we have Clerical
Officers, Admin Co-Ordinator and Admin Area Team Leader all supporting the
Halton Community bases. The communityclinic teams including 0-19 service,
Phlebotomy, Treatment Room Nurses and Podiatry. We work well together; we cover
for each other and will always help each other out. We have the NHS pension
scheme, we provide support 1:1 from a Supervisor or Manager, we are keen to
develop and nurture our staff. There is free parking on site, a staff room for
you to make use of. Full training on our systems will be given. We have staff
wellbeing pages that you can access and different activities that you can chose
to partake in.
