Job summary

The role of the IT Project Support Officer is to aid in the delivery of strategic IT projects, including large-scale refresh, upgrade of hardware and any other technical projects that go live.

Main duties of the job

  • To maintain a high degree of customer service.
  • To operate at an efficient pace whilst maintaining consistent high quality to achieve deadlines.
  • High level of organisational skills.
  • To build, configure and deploy end user computing equipment.
  • To carry out any housekeeping or maintenance procedures of computing systems in accordance with the agreed procedures.
  • To ensure accurate records are maintained in relation to service asset and configuration.
  • To maintain a professional image of IT Services at all times.
  • To perform other duties that may be required as directed by the IT Services Delivery Manager or Head of IT.
