Job summary

We are looking for someone to join our team of administrators. Do you fancy working in environment where no two days are the same and everyday you make a difference to patient care. If so, this is the job for you, and we would love you to apply. This is an exciting and varied role, where you will work alongside a clinical nurse to help the the service to coordinate our resources to ensure that patient care is delivered to the highest standards by the nursing team. The Service is part of a wider multi-disciplinary team and ensures that there is 24/7 nursing care for patients in the community

Main duties of the job

The majority of the role will involve excel spreadsheets and communicating with our Senior Nurse, Senior Administrator and Management Support Officer, as well as key external care providers. You will have experience within an office environment and will have excellent written and verbal communication. You will be competent in all Microsoft packages and need to navigate system one IT system. You will have the ability to work under pressure, solve problems and be able to manage your workload to meet deadlines.

You must hold excellent verbal and non-verbal communications skills as this is part of your role and you will be using telecommunications.

We are a forward thinking, dynamic team that is continuously looking to improve the service we deliver.

The role covers Monday to Sunday 09:00-17:00pm (with half an hour lunch break) including Bank Holidays.

A full tailored induction programme will be supported, and ongoing development encouraged.

We are looking for up to 22.5 hours.

  • Experience of being a team player with the ability to support and advise others in the performance of their roles as required

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3, Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent experience
  • Educated to GCSE level (including English and mathematics) or equivalent practical knowledge and experience

  • Managing Safely Certificate
  • Fire Warden certified
  • Nationally recognised Health and Safety qualification e.g. IOSH
  • CMI Level 3 Diploma In management
