Job summary
We are delighted to be able to offer secondment or temporary post for 1 year to cover maternity leave as Operational Team Manager for our Children and Young Peoples Therapy Team. In this role, you will support and drive the continued implementation of our CYPMHS Therapy Team. The pathway is supported by a Multidisciplinary team and consists of mental health professionals from a range of backgrounds. We offer a range of therapies and interventions to CYP which include CBT, Psychotherapy, Family Therapy, EMDR and groups. The service has a strong leadership team to support the manager clinically. The post is part time and we are keen to offer flexible working hours.
Main duties of the job
As the Operational Team Manager, you will act as a role model within the service to foster a culture of professional development and excellent standards of care, effective working and taking collaborative approaches whilst working across complex multiagency systems to ensure the best possible outcome for young people. With a sound understanding of national drivers, you will work as part of the CAMHS leadership team, supporting the ongoing development and delivery of services as we continue to navigate our way through the effects of the pandemic. You will also be responsible for providing line management including, appraisals and supporting the development of all team members. You will also manage other HR polices such as attendance management. You will be responsible for reporting on performance of the team, sharing and prompting success while, escalating concerns.
