Staff Nurse
Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust

Job summary
Are you a qualified Staff Nurse in adults, passionate about community nursing whether this is your first role, or you have lots of experience?
We welcome your application to join our community care bed (CCB) team across Leeds. The NHS long term plan is to provide more care in community settings, ideally a persons own home, but a temporary stay in a setting that is a homely environment that can provide 24-hour care is sometimes required. The Community care beds do this, enabling early discharge from hospital and reducing hospital admissions and the CCB service delivers complex care whilst empowering patients as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team. When you join us, we will work with you to develop your own personal developmental plan that supports your learning style. We provide training, clinical supervision and access to a peer support network. We won't just stop there though, we are proud of our career progression pathways that will allow you to develop your clinical, leadership and preceptorship skills.
Main duties of the job
Community nursing in the care beds suits people who can work independently and within the wider multi-disciplinary team. Youll be resilient, motivated, and adaptable to working in an ever-changing environment and of course, a passion for providing the best possible care. You will have great communication skills and maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out nursing procedures. You will ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.
