Job summary

The Senior Quality Improvement Lead is responsible for leading a small team of improvement experts who work as advocates, facilitators and critical friends to help individuals to be more effective in their roles, improve pathways, ensure patient safety, reduce waste and innovate and celebrate their achievements. You will use tools and improvement methodologies that create real change, you will be a stakeholder and Quality Improvement expert in large scale transformational change in the organisation and the Leeds system.
Quality Improvement in LCH has recently been under review and we are building better relationships and capability, whilst this role will sit within the ODI team, the successful candidate will work in a matrix way across the organisation with other quality and change functions to support safe, effective patient care.
Main duties of the job
You will be an inspiring leader and facilitator of change with experience of supporting large scale transformation projects and coaching individuals. You will have proven organisational and project management skills and knowledge of improvement methodology in healthcare organisations. You are dynamic, self-motivated, passionate about high quality compassionate care and helping our people to develop are essential qualities. You will work closely with partners in the organisation from Quality and Professional Development, in the Business Change and Development Service and Human Resources to deliver improvement aligned to our strategic goals.
