Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated CYPMHS Practitioner who will work within the Children & Young People's Therapy Team, within a busy and innovative CYPMHS service.
You will be working as part of a large and well established multi-disciplinary team working with children, young people and their families. You will join a strong supportive peer group within the Family Therapy Team, who are committed to excellent clinical care and ongoing professional and personal development.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone who is trained to either Foundation or Intermediate Level in Systemic Practice/Family Therapy.
We will also consider applicants who are studying towards a Family Therapy qualification. As a CYPMHS Practitioner, you will also need a core professional registration.Ideally you will have experience of working within a mental health setting.
The post is 15 hours per week and is part of a well-established systemic discipline where professional development and innovative work is actively encouraged. You will receive monthly specialist Systemic supervision and will be working as part of the Family Therapy Team within the service.
Roles and responsibilities would include supporting the Family Therapist with case load management, risk assessing, note taking in sessions and participating in reflecting teamwork as well as liaising with internal and external professionals as and when appropriate.
