Job summary
Are you passionate about therapy and interested in working in adult rehabilitation? Are you passionate about working in a community role? Do you believe in providing the best care to every person in Leeds?
We welcome your application to join our therapy team at the East Recovery hub, based in Seacroft. Home first is the ideal outcome for many patients leaving hospital, but a temporary stay in a setting that can provide 24-hour re-habilitation is sometimes required. The Recovery hubs enable early discharge from hospital and reduce hospital admissions. We deliver complex care whilst empowering patients and work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team. We provide training, clinical supervision and access to a peer support network.
We work on a shift pattern covering 7 days a week; there may be times where you may be required to work across our other 3 hub sites, therefore it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.
Main duties of the job
Working in Community rehabilitation suits people who can work independently and within the wider multi-disciplinary team. You will be resilient, motivated, and adaptable to working in an ever-changing environment and of course, a passion for providing the best possible care.
You will have excellent communication skills and maintain a high standard of clinical work. You will ensure compliance with our policies and procedures, you will partnership work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and wider services.
Please contact Sally Yorke sallyyorke@nhs.net for questions about the job role.
Adverts will close early where the maximum number of applicants is reached.
