Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Manager to join our dynamic and busy Finance Team. The role will include a hybrid working arrangement with a combination of home and office working based at White Rose Park, Leeds. This role offers a great opportunity to work closely on our service transformation agenda with clinical services, helping them to make the most of their resources to maximise clinical outcomes. Youll need to be a CCAB qualified accountant with the initiative, drive and commitment to work in a complex and changing environment and the drive to deliver quality improvements. Youll have great communication skills, experience of working with a breadth of stakeholders with competing requirements and the discipline to deliver to strict timetables.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will: Be the senior lead finance contact for Directors, General Managers and Budget holders for the Childrens Business Unit. Perform monthly analysis and reconciliation of income, expenditure and budget to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger across all budgets for the Business Unit. Utilise specialist knowledge and expertise to advise and guide budget holders in discharging their accountabilities. Prepare and present regular finance reports for the Business Unit which feed into formal sub-committee reports of the Trust Board.
