An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within a well-established Community Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team here in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin. Supporting patients to make positive life choices that enhance their lives and health.

We can offer you the opportunity to work alongside experienced staff to help develop your skills and knowledge in respiratory care. As a member of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team, you will be expected to work independently, while collaborating with the physiotherapists and nurses, to support patients in a community setting.

You will work alongside and build relationships with the community respiratory nursing teams, local GP surgeries, secondary care respiratory colleagues and community inter disciplinary teams, delivering high quality care across community settings.

Main duties of the job

  • To organise and be responsible for own caseload on a daily basis.
  • Providing pulmonary rehabilitation to patients in the community, in both group and domiciliary settings.
  • Participating in MDT meetings and events.
  • Ordering items via Oracle.
  • Assisting Respiratory Specialist Physiotherapists and Nurses.
  • Some administration duties.
