Job summary
Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust's Children's Occupational Therapy Team provides a range of community-based health services for children in Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin, aged 0 -18.
We are looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the next year to support a project funded by the Change Programme for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Shropshire Primary school hubs for children with additional needs. There will also be an opportunity to join the other clinical OT teams.

Main duties of the job
- You will need to have a sound knowledge of assessments and interventions used with children across a range of needs or be able to demonstrate that you have transferable skills from working with adults .
- You will need to be familiar with report writing and be able to evidence that you have used goal setting and outcome measures within your practice.
- You should be able to evidence that you have the developed skills that may be required to liaise with multidisciplinary teams of health, education, and social care professionals.
