Job summary

We work closely with our health and social care partners to give patients more control over their own care and find necessary treatments more readily available. We support people with multiple health conditions, not just single diseases, and deliver care as locally and conveniently as possible for our patients. We continue develop our current and future workforce and introduce innovative ways to use technology.

The ideal applicant will:

  • Be flexible, enthusiastic, well motivated capable of working in a busy and challenging environment.
  • Posses excellent communication skills, good command of the English language with a good telephone manner.
  • Need to exercise judgement and discretion at all times in providing a confidential and efficient administration service to the hospital .

Bank hours are also available.

Main duties of the job

  • To be the first point of contact in welcoming and answering patient/visitor queries to the hospital.

    To effectively deal with all incoming telephone calls via switchboard both internally and externally.

    Take requests for patient notes and forward notes on to appropriate destination.

    Take delivery of goods and effectively deal with delivery notes and forward complete paperwork of orders.

    Book patients into x ray appointments once they have been assessed.

Experience
