This is an exciting time to join the People Directorate at Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust. We are implementing new systems and building our resourcing teams to support these exciting developments in our systems. You will be part of our Resourcing Service which includes recruitment, e-rostering and temporary staffing.

We are seeking a Resourcing Business Partner to support the Head of Resourcing Services in leading and managing the resourcing service, several work streams and projects, ensuring that key systems and processes, are developed and maintained.

You will take a lead role in driving forward the Trusts agreed Resourcing agenda and will also have lead responsibility for specific Resourcing projects and objectives.

With excellent time management and communication skills you will engage with clinical teams, service managers and senior leaders across the Trust. You will also have experience of developing, delivering and evaluating training and development in support of projects.

Main duties of the job

Lead on and manage the review, development, consultation and implementation of Resourcing (HR) policies and associated procedures, strategies and training, working closely with and drawing on the expertise of Resourcing and HR colleagues, and making recommendations for new initiative or policy change.

To design and deliver on training initiatives aimed at ensuring that Resourcing policies and procedures are fully understood and implemented across the Trust and with the aim of improving Resourcing capability and technical skills of operational managers.

To support the Head of Resourcing Services by coordinating governance processes and information within the Resourcing department and advise Head of Resourcing Services of any identifiable risks.

To manage and lead on short and long term projects liaising with the relevant leads as appropriate as agreed with the Head of Resourcing.

  • Educated at Post Grad diploma level in relevant field or professional HR qualification, such as CIPD, or equivalent experience and additional specialised knowledge gained through training and experience to masters level.

Experience

  • Experience of developing long term plans, resourcing systems and approaches to meet business needs.
  • Experience of recruitment and resourcing systems such as NHS Jobs/Trac and ESR.
  • Experience of advising managers and stakeholders on operational resourcing issues.
