Job summary
We are seeking a Specialist in Endodontics to join our supportive and collaborative Endodontic service on a part-time, fixed-term basis. Working closely with the Consultant in Endodontics and the wider multidisciplinary dental team, you will play a key role in delivering Tier 3 endodontic care, contributing to patient assessments, complex clinical treatments and referral triage. The role combines clinical expertise with teamwork and shared learning in a dynamic service environment.
Essential requirements
- Inclusion on the GDC Specialist Register for Endodontics
- Ability to deliver Tier 3 endodontic care in accordance with national commissioning guidance

- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach
Main duties of the job
- UndertakeTier 3 (Level 3) endodontic treatments and reviews, in line with agreed care pathways and under the guidance or prescription of the Consultant in Endodontics
- Carry out new patient consultations, providing person-centred, evidence-based care
- Triage and assess referrals, accepting patients who meet national Tier 3 endodontic commissioning criteria
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the dental service to deliver safe, effective and timely care
- Contribute to a positive team culture, supporting service development, shared learning and continuous improvement
- Maintain clear, accurate clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards
