  • Registered General Nurse
  • Leg Ulcer management/Tissue Viability or equivalent
  • Prescribing qualification or willingness to complete

Desirable

  • Teaching qualification

Experience

  • Significant post graduate experience
  • Experience in Tissue Viability

Desirable

  • Evaluation and audit experience.
  • Experience in undertaking research and application of research to practice.

Skills

Essential

  • Advanced nursing skills in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients with Tissue Viability needs
  • Ability to organise and motivate self and others
  • Independent decision making with appropriate reference to others
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms
  • Collaborative working with colleagues including those of differing disciplines
  • A record of personal/professional development that shows progression
  • Critical Appraisal
  • Working Knowledge of present NHS policies and direction
