Central London Community Health Trust

Senior Admin Officer - Dietetics

The closing date is 26 January 2026

Job summary

Are you an administrative professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is driven by the values of Accountability, Inclusion, Compassion and Empowerment?

We are searching for a highly organised and proactive individual to provide essential frontline support to two incredible specialist services across inner London: the Community Dietetics Service and the Specialist Weight Management Service (SWMS).

The Community Dietetics Service is a proactive and successful team of dietitians and dietetic assistant practitioners, working across the three inner boroughs of London (Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham).

SWMS, based in Kensington and Chelsea, is a Tier 3 weight management service that supports people living with severe obesity to lose weight and improve their health. The team brings together expertise from dietitians, a physiotherapist, a clinical psychologist and a physician, working collaboratively to deliver compassionate and empowering care.

As the post holder, you will play a vital role in providing front-line administrative support to both teams, ensuring efficient processes and smooth service delivery. Strong time management, excellent communication, organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.

This role is more than administration - It's about being part of a service that makes a real difference to people's lives.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide a front line service to both teams by managing incoming telephone queries and emails, taking appropriate action in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain efficient filing systems, oversee office supplies, and support the management of clinical equipment.
  • Take responsibility for confirming appointments, communicating appointment details clearly to patients, carers, and clinicians, and ensuring effective handovers.
  • Manage team members' clinical rotas to support service continuity.
  • Monitor and manage administrative processes relating to CLCH's data reporting, including waiting times and ethnicity reporting, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
