The West Herts Community Neurological Rehabilitation Service is a specialist team supporting adults with conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, acquired brain injury, and complex post-stroke presentations.

Main duties of the job
As an Occupational Therapist in our service, you'll apply your assessment, treatment, and evaluation skills in a variety of settings. Patients are seen in clinic, at home, in community venues, or virtually. You'll deliver both individual and group programmes, with creativity encouraged in design and approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct holistic assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Use occupation to enable independence and wellbeing
- Deliver therapy in clinic, homes, workplaces, and community settings
- Provide telephone and virtual sessions where appropriate
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines for integrated care

- Ability to apply core occupational therapy skills across a range of clinical conditions within a client centred, goal setting
- Knowledge of outcome measures and evidence based practice relevant to occupational therapy practice in neurology
