An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated band 5 Registered Nurses to work within a wound care clinic based at St Charles UCC. The service will run 7 days a week and will be part of the walk-in centre based St Charles Centre for Health and Wellbeing

Main duties of the job

The nurse will assess, manage and treat a variety of acute and chronic wounds, post operative wounds and minor burns. As part of this role, you will actively contribute to the prevention of avoidable deterioration of wounds and use expert knowledge and skill in the management of simple and complex wound care to aid the recovery and healing process.

The post holder will support the team lead in the daily operation of the service and will provide holistic care to service users.

The service will operate 7 days a week shift pattern from 8am - 8pm.
