CLCH R&D Department are seeking a highly motivated administrator to help drive forward our research portfolio and effectively coordinate a high quality of Service within the CLCH Research & Development Office. We are seeking an ambassador for the service; who will be motivated to provide first class administration; in a professional manner to support the work of the service and meet strategic and business objectives. The post holder will facilitate clinical research and provide administrative support within research team.

This post is integral in the Trust's R&D strategy to become a leader in community research, drive innovation, enhance patient care and maximise opportunities for our patients and staff to participate in high quality research.

The successful candidate will be personable, have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a strong work ethic. They will be a strong team-player, enabling them to effectively communicate with research participants and interact with colleagues at all professional levels.

This position would be ideal for someone wishing to develop a career in clinical research administration and study co-ordination. Knowledge and experience of administration in the field of health or research in NHS setting would be an asset.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for working collaboratively with team members to effectively coordinate and deliver a high quality of Service within the CLCH Research & Development Office.

The post holder will be an ambassador for the service; will be motivated to provide first class administration; in a professional manner in order to support the work of the service and meet strategic and business objectives.

The post holder will be responsible for:

facilitating clinical research and provide administrative support within research team

acquiring and maintaining excellent working knowledge of various studies to provide support as directed by the Head of R&D Main duties
