Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse with an interest in working and developing a career within the field of occupational health. You will play a vital role in the assessment of staff of the Trust at pre-placement or on employment and protection of staff from infectious diseases and transmissible infections which includes assessing immunisation status and delivering vaccinations and management of occupational exposures (needlestick injuries, splashes). This is a peripatetic role with the requirement to deliver services at clinic sessions across the Trust. Occupational health experience is not essential as full training will be given.
Main duties of the job
To provide and maintain a comprehensive Occupational Health Service for the staff of CLCH
This is a peripatetic post and there will be a requirement to travel to sites across CLCH to ensure adequate delivery of service.
To contribute to the management of physical resources, including budget and staff within their sphere of responsibility, in line with contractual and professional standards.
To work in a collaborative manner with other agencies to ensure seamless health care delivery for employees.
