Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for emergency preparedness and resilience? Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced professional to join us as the Head of Emergency Planning and Operational Resilience (EPRR), Patient and Staff Logistics.
This role is diverse, fast paced and provides a unique opportunity to work and interact with all clinical and non-clinical divisions across the Trust.
In this role, you will lead and manage the Trust's emergency preparedness, resilience, and response agenda as well as be accountable for the non-emergency patient transport booking bureau, interpreting services as well as contract manager for uniforms across the Trust geography.
Reporting to the Director of Resilience and advising the Chief Operating Officer / Accountable Executive Officer (AEO), you will guide strategic decisions and drive improvements in our emergency preparedness and resilience capabilities. You will also work with Procurement and operational colleagues to negotiate contracts to support efficient, cost effective and resilient operational services.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of emergency planning frameworks, national and local guidelines, and a proven track record in crisis response. You will work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the Trust is always prepared for any eventuality.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant Master's degree or equivalent experience, a Diploma in Emergency Planning, and significant expertise in emergency planning, business continuity and contract management. You should have excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to influence and motivate at all levels.
