What You'll Do:
- Lead with Autonomy: Manage your own varied caseload, providing expert assessment and treatment in various settings, from patients' homes to community facilities.
- Coordinate Complex Care: Be the central point of contact, ensuring seamless care coordination for individuals with complex neurological needs.
- Expert Assessment and Intervention: Conduct specialized assessments, utilizing advanced clinical reasoning to determine the best course of intervention and signposting.
- Champion Best Practice: Promote evidence-based practice and contribute to service development through audit, research, and CPD.
- Clinical Leadership: Act as a role model, providing expert advice and guidance to the multidisciplinary team.
- Advocate for Patients and Staff: Apply your ethical, legal, and professional knowledge to advocate for patients and support colleagues.
- Drive Clinical Excellence: Ensure adherence to NICE guidelines and contribute to clinical governance and risk management.

- Evidence of up-to-date CPD portfolio

- Member of Professional Body (e.g. CSP/COT/RCSLT/NMC)

Desirable
- Educated to master's Level in Neuro Nursing, or equivalent combination of post graduate diplomas
- Further education in Counselling or Equivalent

- Experience post registration as a Band 6 Nurse in neurology, neurological rehabilitation and long-term disability management.
- Post-registration experience of working in a community rehabilitation setting at a senior level.

- Experience in supervising and appraising junior clinicians/support workers.
- Experience in supervising students
- Experience of working in the NHS
