Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 4 Technical Instructor to our community team. The role involves working with patients in their own home to provide rehabilitation services and promote independence. The role would be supporting both Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
Successful applicants will be part of an enthusiastic, patient focused, holistic team caring for patients in their own homes. Our Multi-disciplinary team comprises of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Healthcare and therapy assistants, as well as support from administrators.
We work collaboratively with GPs, acute hospitals, Social care, Hospices and other third sector organisations. You will have the opportunity to work with patients with a wide range of clinical conditions.We have a well-established structure for clinical supervision and opportunities for practice development including in-service training. This will provide you with fantastic opportunities to enhance your existing knowledge and skills.

Main duties of the job
The aim is to rehabilitate and maximise the patients' potential to support and enable patients with their mobility and in a range of activities to promote independent living and monitor their wellbeing living in the Dacorum locality.
To support both Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in treatment programmes.
To provide individual assessments and treatment, where required for patients with therapy needs, in the community setting.
To provide advice, guidance and information to patients, health and social care professionals, carers and relatives and other non-professionals.
To manage a clinical caseload, documentation, patient visits and discharge planning.
To participate in clinical supervision and continued professional development to ensure that clinical practice is maintained at a high standard.
To adhere to Lone working policy and Trust Safe Working Policies.
