Job summary
The neuro rehabilitation assistant is an active member of a team providing high quality, evidence-based rehabilitation for patients with neurological conditions, including Acquired Brain Injury, in the community.
The rehabilitation assistant will take referrals from the therapy teams. They will work both independently and with supervision to deliver individualised therapeutic treatment, working towards patient-centred goals.
They will hold and plan their own caseload together with advice and support from therapy staff. They will see patients as lone workers, monitor the patient's condition and progress and report back to the qualified team members.
