Job summary
CLCH are now seeking a Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist to them at East Barnet Health Centre to be an active member of the clinical multidisciplinary team, providing a comprehensive Physiotherapy service to residents of Barnet.
You will work within professional standards and clinical guidelines, promote best practice and to undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner including assessing and treating own & multi-disciplinary caseload of patients/clients and maintaining professional documentation.
Main duties of the job
Undertake specialised Uni-professional and multi-professional assessments and to develop and implement treatment plans for clients referred to the service.
These clients will present with a variety of complex multi-pathologies within specialist areas, including neurological conditions, musculoskeletal conditions, age & falls related disorders, osteoporosis, learning disability and/or mental health diagnosis.

Essential
- Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy
- Current HPC registration
- Evidence of up-to-date CPD portfolio
- Attendance at specialist short courses or equivalent CPD activities within the specialist areas of Adult Rehabilitation, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Older People Rehabilitation
- Member of CSP
- Member of a Special Interest Group relevant to the rotational clinical areas
Desirable
- Post graduate degree in relevant area
Experience
Essential
- Experience post registration as a Band 5 physiotherapist
- Experience working at a Junior level in a wide range of specialised clinical areas including outpatients, neurology, rehabilitation, orthopaedics and respiratory.
Desirable
- Experience in Falls Prevention Team, Community Rehabilitation, Outpatients and learning disability.
- Experience working as a Band 6 Physiotherapist
- Experience working in the NHS or private health care organization.

- Knowledge of role of Allied Health Professionals and interdisciplinary team working
