Reception Co-ordinator Band 3 Edgware + Finchley Walk in Centres

Edgware+Finchley Walk in Centres are run by Central London Community Healthcare NHS trust provides minor injury and illness unscheduled care services to our local community and support the integrated urgent care system. CLCH has been rated as "Good" at our most recent CQC inspection.

We are looking for a flexible, and enthusiastic receptionist to join our team.

Main duties of the job

You will be joining a supportive and skilled team of clinical and administrative colleagues where together you will provide an excellent and high quality level of service to our patients and families. You will have mentoring and support to develop your skills and career and to carry out your role to the highest standard. Career progression is available within the division administration team.

If you are customer focused, able to promote collaborative working within our team, and can welcome and support all visitors who attend the Walk in Centre then this is the role for you.

The Walk in Centres are open 8am to 7pm 7 days a week throughout the year. Staff work until 8pm and shift patterns are between 8am to 8pm either as short or long days.

  • Good literacy and numeracy, general education
  • NVQ Admin Level 3 in Administration or Equivalent

Desirable

  • European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or equivalent

Experience

  • Secretarial and administrative experience in an office environment
  • Experience of working with the general public in a customer or client-facing role
  • Experience of inputting to databases, spreadsheets and/or other IT Systems and business applications used in the office environment
  • Experience of taking, producing and distributing notes as directed

  • Experience of working with patients and carers in a public sector environment
