Main duties of the job

Clinical Dutieso To undertake venepuncture from patients in their own homes. Visit patients in order of priority as listed; there will be a maximum of two fasting patients at the beginning of the list, and one urgent. The phlebotomist will be expected to see up to 10 patients per daily session.o To undertake Blood pressure from patients in their own homes.o To maintain Knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to deliver a quality service that are responsive to the needs of patients.o To report any changes in condition of the patient to the Team Leader or in their absence the designated nurse in charge of the caseload
