Job summary

Harrow Integrated Care Clinical Service Unit is looking for an experienced Administrator to join our large Team

If you are u highly motivated, flexible, and have an interest and enthusiasm to be a part of a Team who want to deliver excellent high-quality services then this is the right opportunity for you.

You will be required to be well-organised hand have a fully comprehensive administrative skills for this role.

An opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of a Band 3, 37.5-hour admin/clerical post to support the expanding and busy Harrow Community Services.

The applicant is expected to support the teams, administrate day to day activities to support the services and service leads.

The applicant is expected to have confident and competent computer skills, ability to work within a team and be self- motivated.

Main duties of the job

Ordering NHS stock and Tracking equipment Liaising with Health Care Professionals and Patients Scanning, Filling and Creating/Preparing clinician's documents Sending letters Arrange monthly Meeting minutes, Agendas and send out in a timely manner Covering reception and other services across both sites when required

Job responsibilities

  • Arrange team meetings including sending out agenda, taking minutes and booking/inviting ad hoc speakers (minutes to be sent out within a week)
  • Maintain an efficient electronic filing system
  • To act as first point of contact for all external visitors
  • Asist in carrying out local inductions for new staff
  • Compile general correspondence
  • Respond to patients thanks you letters
  • Organise data and shred as necessary
  • Create red patient folders weekly
  • Sending out complaints and thank you letters to PALS, and respond to PALSs at managers discretion
  • Onwards referrals; referral management, registering patients on EMIS
