As a recognised provider of innovative, high quality services Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust are looking for an exceptional individual to join our highly respected Adult Community Nursing Service Team. We have a vacancy in the Night District Nursing Team in Inner NorthWest London covering the boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster. We wish to recruit a Band 6 night community staff nurse who is committed, forward thinking and enthusiastic with energy and self-motivation covering the service which runs from 20.00 to 08.00, 7 nights a week. Your hours of working will be 37.5 hours per week worked over a four week period.The successful candidate will be highly motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic. You will be able to deliver excellent quality nursing care to people in their own homes; be able to work on your own initiative, triaging and prioritising patients and be an excellent team player. We are looking for nurses who have already have experience in community nursing with a wide range of clinical skills.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work under the delegation of the District Nurse Team Leaders and will possess excellent communication, assessment and care planning skills and have a good knowledge of clinical standards. You will work in conjunction with a HCA and visit patients in pairs.If you have excellent communication/interpersonal skills and would enjoy the challenge of caring for people at night in their own homes then we would like to hear from you.In return we will offer you a commitment to your continuing professional development. However, preference will be given to those with a manual licence.
