Job summary
Brent Universal Children's Service is seeking Administrators to support our Universal Health Visiting and School Nursing services across Brent.
The post holder is a member of the ONW single point of access (SPA), within the Children's Universal team. The responsibilities of the team are to support Children's 0-19 Services and clinical staff to manage the day-to-day administration.

Main duties of the job
The Children's Universal Team are responsible for registering patients, booking clinic appointments, updating waiting lists and communicating appointment related information to patients, carers, and health professionals. They aim to make effective use of resources, reduce duplication, and ensure this is effectively and safely managed through the system.
We currently have 1 full-time vacancy 37.5 hours per week
Children's Universal is open Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm except all bank holidays and weekends. This postholder will work within the SPA's operational hours.

- Assisting in organising the teams workload through effective diary management
- Liaising with service users, families and key stakeholders, handling telephone calls, emails and messages

- NVQ Admin Level 3 in Administration or Equivalent combination of NVQ2, short courses and experience
Experience

- Experience of inputting to databases, spreadsheets and/or other IT systems and business applications used in the office environment
- Experience of working with the general public in a customer service role
- Team working

- Experience of working in a health care environment
