Job summary

Are you a speech and language therapist looking to explore a career in clinical education / practice. Are you interested in developing your skills as an educator? This is an exciting opportunity for a speech and language therapist to join the pioneering CLCH Academy AHP practice development team to support the learning, clinical and career development of our SLT workforce across adult and children's community pathways of care.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate would be joining the CLCH Academy; working across five clinical divisions, be team's based and responsible for delivering quality development initiatives and training on behalf of the academy. We are seeking to recruit a SLT clinician who wishes to develop their skills in practice education to facilitate the development of the SLT workforce. Ideally, the candidate we are looking for would have experience in adult rehabilitation and child development, complex disability management and or health prevention in the community environment. The postholder will support the clinical workforce to develop skills to deliver safe evidence based patient centred interventions in the community setting. The successful candidate will be part of a thriving practice development AHP team working alongside our nursing PD colleagues. You would be professionally supported by the AHP practice educator lead and would link in with the Chief AHP and professional leads for the organisation. We actively encourage the CLCH PD workforce to develop and optimise their potential in a nurturing environment through a well-supported academy structure.
