Central London Community Healthcare Trust (CLCH) has an exciting opportunity available for a passionate and committed Administrator for Wandsworth & Richmond's 0-19 Admin Hub. We are looking for candidates with excellent communication and IT skills, who will help make a tangible difference to peoples' lives and enjoy the very best of London life on your doorstep.
Main duties of the job
Wandsworth & Richmond Admin Hub are seeking a dynamic individual with a strong administrative background and good understanding of using data bases for inputting information and generating appointments for children and their families. You will have an excellent telephone manner to deal with all enquires to the Single Point of Access to the Health Visiting and School Nursing Services.
We deliver an excellent public health and child centred model of care, working with children aged 0- 19, their families and education teams. We're looking for motivated and innovative people keen to rise to the challenges of helping children from diverse backgrounds.
The successful post holder will be supported in developing skills and knowledge through the Performance Appraisal and Development Review process

Job responsibilities
The Children's Division Administrative Single Point of Access team is responsible for processing and registering new referrals booking clinics and client appointments to support achievement of service key performance indicators/targets, updating waiting lists, and communicating appointment related information to patients, carers and health professionals. They aim to make effective use of resources, reduce duplication and ensure that referrals are effectively and safely managed through the system.
The post holder is responsible for working collaboratively with team members to effectively coordinate and deliver a high quality of service. They will be an ambassador for the service; will be motivated to provide first class administration; in a professional manner in order to support the work of the service and meet strategic and business objectives.
The post holder is a member of the Admin SPA team and the responsibilities of the team are to support clinical services. The post holder will also work within designated divisional teams to support clinical services and specifically:
- Assisting in organising the teams workload through effective diary management
- Liaising with service users, families and key stakeholders, handling telephone calls, emails and messages
- The ordering of equipment and supplies
- Supporting the integrated team therapists/ nurses with daily administrative duties
The post holder will also take responsibility for booking clinics and appointments, process new referrals, update waiting lists and communicating appointment related information to service users, families and carers.
