Job summary

Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Health Professional- Band 7 - Wandsworth 0-19

We are looking to recruit an experienced professional to fulfil the role of Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Health Professional. The successful candidate will join our passionate team, working across the Children's and Adults safeguarding agenda and the

0-19 service delivery. The role will be based in the MASH - Local Authority (LA) and will include a collaborative working with a dynamic multi-agency integrated team assessing notifications and referrals regarding children aged 0-18 that are received by the MASH.

We have adopted a 'think family' approach; the service is progressive and innovative and is committed to supporting the workforce in understanding safeguarding, embedding it into 'everyday business' and improving outcomes for all clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining systems and processes within the service to ensure we effectively contribute to the Multi-Agency response when concerns are raised about children, young people and families. The successful candidate will also have the opportunities to develop this vital role.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as part of a dynamic, multi-agency, integrated team, assessing notifications and referrals regarding children and young people aged 0-25, that are received by the MASH.

With due regard to patient confidentiality and the lawful processing of information, the MASH professional will interpret and share the information that is necessary to safeguard and/or promote the welfare of an unborn child, children and young people, their families and carers.

  • Registered Nurse/Midwife or

  • Current NMC registration
  • Evidence of continuing post-registration education and training

  • Post-graduate Master's level in a relevant subject area or working towards
