We are looking for a Health & Wellbeing Officer to join the Organisational Development and Culture Team, on a full-time 37.5-hour basis, on a two-year fixed term contract.
The Wellbeing Team which is part of the Organisational Development and Culture Team, are looking for a Health & Wellbeing Officer to support delivery of the Trust's Long-term Wellbeing Plan and by extension branches of the Clinical Strategy. The postholder will be active in delivering training, content creation, and health prevention and promotion, for wellbeing across the Trust. A point of contact, this postholder will advocate and influence Trust engagement with wellbeing, inspiring colleagues to better understand their health.
This role includes working as part of a team with multiple stakeholders such Organisational Development and Culture, EDI, HR, and Employee Health.
For this role, you will:

- Have experience or a passion for project support.
- Be experienced in working across an organisation, interacting with a wide audience and influencing others.

Main duties of the job
The CLCH Wellbeing Team are looking for Wellbeing Officer/Ambassador to support delivery of the Trust's Long-term Wellbeing Plan and by extension branches of the Clinical Strategy. The postholder will be active in delivering training, content creation, and health prevention and promotion, for wellbeing across the Trust. A point of contact, this postholder will advocate and influence Trust engagement with wellbeing, inspiring colleagues to better understand their health.
Working as part of the Organisational Development and Culture Team, his post holder will work with the Wellbeing Lead in long-term workforce cultural change. Working closely within the People's Directorate and within Operational teams, this post encompasses active networking across all levels of the organisation.

- Be a supportive point of contact for teams, collecting local wellbeing data, feeding back to the Lead, ensuring clear communication and support via appropriate action
- Advise and signpost colleagues on the provision of resources available, this includes external counselling and mental health specialists
- Raise awareness of different health prevention and promotion support groups/initiatives, working closely with Staff Networks and Employee Health initial programmes include financial wellbeing, menopause and mental health. This also includes specific engagement with diabetes, asthma/COPD, obesity and mental health, as detailed for address in the Clinical Strategy.
- Be the key contact for Wellbeing Ambassadors, facilitating and overseeing the network, including delivering trainin
- Maintain and develop the growing CLCH Wellbeing App.
- Create communications content on a variety of wellbeing campaigns and programmes.
- Support and assist the Wellbeing Lead.
- Attend and participate in the Wellbeing Programme Board.
- Be a highly visible individual, attending Trust sites and meetings when required and appropriate, providing expertise in developing a sustainable wellbeing culture
- Engage with the NHS Long-term workforce plan, NHS People Plan, and CLCH People Strategy
- Support the Wellbeing Lead with ensuring that CLCH has structured wellbeing delivery that is evidence based and targeted to support individual physical, mental health, and wellness. This plan will support the creation of a healthy, fulfilled, resilient and productive workforce working to the best of their ability, enabling the best service to be provided to patients and residents.
