An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced community paediatric physiotherapist to lead the Community/preschool Physiotherapy Service in Brent. We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic paediatric physiotherapist with appropriate post graduate physiotherapy skills to join our friendly, supportive therapy team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists and assistants.

We are dedicated to developing innovative services and work collaboratively with our local Child Developmental Team, Education and Social Care services, with joint assessments and discussion forums.

As a member of the Team you will provide a high quality service to Children & Young People, aged 0 to 19 years with physical needs in a variety of settings including preschool, nurseries, mainstream and special schools and community clinics.

Main duties of the job

The successful post holder will hold a varied SEN caseload, and will be expected to undertake specialist Physiotherapy assessments and devise client centred treatment interventions. The post holder will also provide a leadership role to SEN pathways for preschool and school age CYP and support staff through appraisal and in service training. The post holder will also contribute to the development of physiotherapy clinical pathways and care packages and coordinate physiotherapy services to CYP transitioning from preschool to school and into adult services.
