Occupational Therapist - Band 5

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Maximizing Independence Team covering the borough of Wandsworth.
Maximising Independence is a goal-based rehabilitation service which provides time limited interventions up to 6 weeks, to support patient independence and quality of life in their own homes. The multidisciplinary team is made up of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Rehab Assistants who are integrated within the CLCH CAHS team. The majority of referrals come from GPs, local hospitals or Local Authority; as well as patients handed over from the Discharge to Assess team.
The main base is at Battersea Studios. The nearest train stations are Queenstown Road and Battersea Park which are one stop from Clapham Junction. There is secure parking for bicycles and on street parking for cars where you will be reimbursed for parking costs.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to deliver high quality, evidence-based physiotherapy intervention.
The post is suitable for an experienced Band 5 Occupational Therapist, who is looking to develop their skills of community-based working in rehabilitation using holistic based assessments.
Ability to meet the travel requirements of the post is essential as the role involves traveling throughout the borough as a lone worker.
