Adults and Specialist Rehabilitation have an amazing opportunity offering full time and part time (34.50hrs, 30hrs and 23hr) vacancies for Band 2 Healthcare Assistant, on a fixed term basis of 6 months. During this six-month period, the employee will be supported in meeting the required skills and competencies to achieve the standards required of a Band 2 HCA . Following completion of this, there may be opportunities to progress as a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant, as part of our ongoing development programmes without having to interview for the position.
The successful applicant will be required to work shifts on weekends, nights and bank holidays, over 24 hours 7 days a week, to meet service needs.
Main duties of the job
Adults and Specialist Rehabilitation Division , within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, delivers a range of specialist services to older adults. We are currently recruiting dedicated and motivated healthcare assistants to West Heath Hospital and Moseley Hall Hospital, Individuals will be expected to deliver and maintain a high standard of clinical care and to assist in the delivery of all aspects of individualized personal care.
