An exciting opportunity has come up in the Children's and Families Clinical Governance Team! The Clinical Governance Co Ordinator will support the Divisional Clinical Governance Team through the provision of tasks relating to Clinical Governance and Assurance along with administrative and a range of clerical tasks required to facilitate the improvement of clinical services across the Children and Families Division. This will include dealing with time sensitive requests from internal and external departments requiring organisation and communication skills. The postholder will be based and work on site from Moseley Hall Hospital.

Main duties of the job

  1. To be the first point of contact for the Divisional Clinical Governance Team dealing with routine and non-routine enquiries, communicating relevant information to the most appropriate person in the Team. Answering telephone calls, taking messages and passing on to the relevant person and signposting.
  2. Diary management, making and changing appointments for the Clinical Governance and Assurance Manager.
  3. Ensure an effective and efficient communication network with those staff who report to the Senior Management Team.
  4. Develop and build good working relationships with internal and external organisations.
  5. Communicate efficiently and effectively with staff and service users, including those from other agencies, providing or receiving complex and/or sensitive information, where tact, re-assurance, agreement and co-operation is necessary.Deal appropriately with all queries relating to services on behalf of specific managers within the Senior Management Team.
  6. Ensure effective professional working relationships with all other agencies, professionals, colleagues and the public who contact the department.
