Job summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Senior HR Advisor to join our Adults and Specialist Rehabilitation HR Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to expand their generalist HR expertise within a supportive and collaborative team.

As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, specialist advice and support to managers and staff across the division. Your responsibilities will span all aspects of employee relations casework, sickness absence management, and organisational change. Reporting to the Assistant HR Business Partner, you will be instrumental in delivering a responsive, professional, and efficient employee relations service. The role involves cross-site working across Birmingham and regular travel to meetings throughout the day.

Main duties of the job

CIPD qualified (or equivalent). Demonstrable generalist HR experience, ideally within a large, complex organisation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a flexible and adaptable approach. Willingness and ability to travel between sites across Birmingham as required.   • Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development qualified (graduate member) or working towards with an equivalent level of experience at an appropriate level
