If you are looking for your next career challenge and have a real passion for Prison Nursing, we have an exciting opportunity for 2 positions available for a Band 6 nurse within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust at HMP Birmingham.
An environmental allowance is paid for working in the prison, which is £1,542, pro rate .
Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit experience, highly skilled and motivated nurses to join our Primary Care Team. Our aim is to deliver a wide range of healthcare interventions to improve our patient's overall health and well being. You will be a qualified Registered Adult Nurse (RGN) with experience in Prison Nursing along with a real passion for developing your clinical skills in an ever-changing environment. You will have a flexible approach to working within a team that encourages new ideas and innovations to improve the service. If you are self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as showing plenty of initiative when it comes to handling a wide range of situations, then this could be the right role for you!
