Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established and pro-active Digital Skills Training Team as a Digital Skills Training and Support Officer.
The post holder provides administrative support to the Digital Skills Training Team acting as the first point of contact for training enquiries received via online forms, email and telephone.
We are looking for a self motivated, flexible person with a can-do attitude and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, embrace change, enjoy a challenge, and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Please note the role is primarialy office based at Gee House, the post holder will be required to work from the office with occasional home working.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the job are to:
- Assist the Digital Skills Training Manager in the Department's administration duties
- Communicate effectively with team colleagues, internal BCHC staff and external agencies
- Deal directly and pro-actively with all correspondence, including matters which are confidential or sensitive
- Work independently to resolve day to day issues
- Monitor and amend (where required) staff records on the ESR system
- Manage issues arising within the Department ensuring they are dealt with effectively, efficiently and appropriately
