Band 2 Health Centre Receptionists - Relief
We have an opportunity within BCHC Trust HQ based within the Aston area, to appoint a part time Relief receptionist.
Priestly Wharf is in Aston area, is one of our most established sites that holds several BCHC services and needs hardworking, reliable, and friendly staff. This position is part time Monday to Friday 20 hours per week, 08:30-12:30 based at 3 Priestley Wharf.
As a Relief receptionist we expect the candidate to be able to work up to 37.5 hrs a week if required, to cover another full-time receptionist at Priestley Wharf, to be able to travel to cover other Health Centres around Birmingham. We expect the candidate to be flexible with short notice regarding working hours and location to cover. We expect candidate to have full clean driving licence and a car to move around sites (fuel expenses paid - discussed during the interview).
The successful candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills, be motivated and enthusiastic to ensure that a quality and efficient service is provided to the clinical teams. The post holder must have the ability to work on their own initiative. They will also need to be able to prioritize their workload and work under pressure to meet agreed deadlines.
Main duties of the job
You should have excellent keyboard skills and a working knowledge of Windows based computer packages, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
You will need to have an awareness of the confidentiality and equality issues associated with working in a Clinical Support Services environment.
The post may require you to undertake duties at other centers across the trust due to service demand and changes. This will be discussed and agreed with you prior to any changes.
