The North Therapy Hub have exciting opportunities for Rehabilitation Assistants to join our motivated and highly skilled multidisciplinary team. The Team are looking for someone who is comfortable working within a supportive & a Friendly team to assist and complete rehabilitation and care tasks prescribed by our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapist to patients with a wide range of disabilities and medical conditions. The Team is responsible for assessment and treatment to prevent inappropriate hospital admission, rehabilitation to patients with chronic and long term conditions, end of life Palliative care to patients in their own homes and also rehabilitation to patients in care homes. There are numerous opportunities to work alongside other professionals within the integrated community services and to be part of a dynamic team of professionals.

Main duties of the job

It is essential that you have experience of rehabilitation or a caring role, preferably through employment within a community setting but we would consider applicants with transferrable life skills from other caring roles. Applicants will need to have good verbal, written and team working skills. You will need to be flexible in your approach and confident to work alone. Basic IT skills and NVQ level 2 would be essential. In return for your enthusiasm and commitment, we can provide an opportunity for you to develop your clinical skills and experience in a supportive team, with regular supervision and appraisals.
